The Pinkwell WHY for British Values (The Intent - Vision)
Through the teaching of British Values our children will develop an understanding of how citizens can influence decision-making through the democratic process; an appreciation that living under the rule of law protects individual citizens and is essential for their wellbeing and safety; and a commitment to showing respect and tolerance to others.

The Pinkwell WHAT for British Values (The Intent - BIG IDEAS)
At Pinkwell we strive for our school to represent the British values. We want our children to fully understand and live by the 5 values. 

The Pinkwell HOW for British Values (The Implementation)
The British Values are embedded throughout our curriculum. The children will learn about different parts of the values through their PBL. In addition to this the values are represented in our school culture through school councils, assemblies and trips. 

The Pinkwell SO WHAT for British Values (The Impact)
Pinkwell pupils are able to make reasoned decisions, voice opinions, listen respectfully to the opinions of others, be curious about and value the lives and experiences of others and apply British values to their lives in school as well as having an understanding of how they can be an active, engaged citizen as an adult.
