Reception 2020 Offers
Offers are posted by the Hillingdon Borough Admissions Team by 1st class on Monday 13 April 2020. Parents who applied online will be able to log on to the e-admissions website and view their offer the same evening after 5pm.
Online applicants who received one of their preferences will NOT get an offer letter sent in the post. Online applicants who received an unallocated offer will receive an offer letter through the post. This will be explained when you log into your account to view the outcome.
Accepting the place - If parents applied online you should accept online by logging back into your e-admissions account.
For paper applicants you have 3 acceptance options; accept online on the www.hillingdon.gov.uk/schooladmissions site, by email or over the phone on 01895 556644.
Acceptance deadline - Deadline for parents to accept/decline their offer is Monday 27 April 2020. Failure to respond may result in the offer being withdrawn.
Declining the offer - We advise all parents to accept the offer that has been given to ensure their child has a school place for September. If parents do want to decline they must give reasons why and advise what school arrangements they will be making for their child. Any children who have not accepted and made no alternative education arrangements will be referred to the Participation Team once they statutory school age.
Appeals - Parents are allowed to appeal a school's decision. Full details on how this can be done can be found on the Gov.uk official website: https://www.gov.uk/schools-admissions/appealing-a-schools-decision
Admissions to Pinkwell Primary School (Reception to Year 6) are managed by the Local Authority and can also be made directly at Pinkwell. In placing children in school, the Hillingdon Borough will apply the following criteria:
- Looked after children/previously looked after children (children subject to a care order and those accommodated by a local authority)
- Medical need
- Siblings already at Pinkwell Primary School
- Children of staff
- Proximity to school
Admissions to Pinkwell Nursery are made directly at Pinkwell Primary School using the same application pack. A nursery place is part-time, 5 days a week (term-time only) for 3 hours a day. You can apply for a Nursery place as soon as your child reaches the age of 3 years and 3 months.
Are you interested in full time, 30 hours free nursery childcare for your child? Pinkwell's nursery still has spaces available so please register your interest at our school reception as soon as possible.
In order to be eligible for the 30 hours free childcare you will first need to register for an eligibility code via the government's childcare portal. Click here to be taken to the childcare portal and click the green "Apply or sign into your account" button to begin registration for an eligibility code. This must be done before the 3rd of April 2020 to secure a 30 hours place in our summer term (starting 20th of April).
To apply for a place at Pinkwell Primary and Nursery School, please print and return the application pack forms listed below to:

The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust (TEFAT) is now consulting on behalf of Pinkwell Primary School to reduce the Published Admissions Number (PAN) from 150 to 90 for entry in the academic year 2020/21 and 2021/22 onwards.
The consultation will run from 11 December 2019 – 31 January 2020
Reason for the Proposal
For a number of years, the academy has only been able to fill 90 of the 150 places available. Hillingdon LA have confirmed that for several years there has been surplus primary places in the planning area that the academy is located in, which is set to continue for the foreseeable future. Reducing the PAN will enable the academy to put in place financial efficiencies and continue to improve standards in education. The LA are supporting this proposal.
If you would like to comment on this proposal, please email your comments to: Sharon Oliver Consultancy Ltd who is working on behalf of TEFAT at firstname.lastname@example.org by the 31 January 2020
