Admissions and Attendance
Reception 2025 Applications
If your child was born between 1st of September 2020 and 31st of August 2021 they are now eligible for a reception place. Applications for reception must be made by the 15th of January 2025 and must be done through the Hillingdon School Admissions Team. Applications can be made online at www.hillingdon.gov.uk/schooladmissions or by phone by calling 01895556644. As this date has now passed you can still make late applications but spaces will be limited.
Accepting the place - If parents applied online you should accept online by logging back into your e-admissions account.
For paper applicants you have 3 acceptance options; accept online on the www.hillingdon.gov.uk/schooladmissions site, by email or over the phone on 01895 556644.
Declining the offer - We advise all parents to accept the offer that has been given to ensure their child has a school place for September. If parents do want to decline they must give reasons why and advise what school arrangements they will be making for their child. Any children who have not accepted and made no alternative education arrangements will be referred to the Participation Team once they statutory school age.
Appeals - Parents are allowed to appeal a school's decision. Full details on how this can be done can be found on the Gov.uk official website: https://www.gov.uk/schools-admissions/appealing-a-schools-decision

Admissions to Pinkwell Primary School (Reception to Year 6) are managed by the Local Authority and can also be made directly at Pinkwell. In placing children in school, the Hillingdon Borough will apply the following criteria:
- Looked after children/previously looked after children (children subject to a care order and those accommodated by a local authority)
- Medical need
- Siblings already at Pinkwell Primary School
- Children of staff
- Proximity to school
Nursery Admissions
Admissions to Pinkwell Nursery are made directly at Pinkwell Primary School using the same application pack. A nursery place is part-time, 5 days a week (term-time only) for 3 hours a day. We also have limited full time spaces for children who are eligible for 30 hours free childcare. You can apply for a Nursery place as soon as your child reaches the age of 3 years and 3 months.
In order to be eligible for the 30 hours free childcare you will first need to register for an eligibility code via the government's childcare portal. Click here to be taken to the childcare portal and click the green "Apply or sign into your account" button to begin registration for an eligibility code. You must apply in advance of the term your child will be starting in order to secure the funding for the term ahead.
